Taking African Air Travel to TV.

We have been working with FastJet since 2011 when we helped launched the low cost African airline, creating the branding and communications. Everything from brochures to the planes themselves was considered and created by SomeOne. Now we’ve created 5 new stories for them.

Over the past three years we’ve been responsible for all matters concerning the brand and how it communicates across Africa.

The Ads were written, illustrated and directed by SomeOne, and animated by our good friends at Animade. Music is by our pal Pete Diggens and the the voice of Mr Grey is actually the brilliant Simon Greenall — best known for his role as Alan Partridge’s friend Michael, the Geordie hotel handyman in the hit sitcom I’m Alan Partridge — and more recently the voice of Aleksandr the Meerkat!

Since it’s first flight the airline has now carried over a million passengers, and now flies to 9 destinations within Africa and last year turned over almost $54,000,000. With 271 staff their aircraft are now a common and welcome sight across the country. The airline plans to grow its fleet to around 34 jets by the end of 2018, and aims to own two-thirds of its aircraft.
